This is a contract position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and analyze business needs for 2018 Benefits Open Enrollment & Life Event changes

Assist with requirement gathering and knowledge transfer sessions that provide clarity and direction aligned with Workday & CompuCom deployment methodology.

Test and deploy Workday system; including executing the new implementations & deployments of new requirements or enhancements to the Workday application and integration support.

Set up and use project management processes/systems across work streams including planning of life cycle of the project, identifying key project activities and milestones, etc.

Engage with customer/managers (Benefits, Payroll, & Business Processes), defining requirements and guide them through the implementation process.

Configure the application according to customer requirements, develop data conversion and configuration plans

Ensure delivery of high-quality services and products to all customers

Work with customer to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope and/or time frame

Maintaining expert knowledge of benefit laws/regulations, providing oversight and guidance of internal procedure to ensure compliance and consistency.

 Configure & test various Life events that may cross multiple Business Processes (Change Job, Hire, Termination, Open Enrollment, etc.)

 Assist the team with integration configuration and test integrations between Workday and benefit providers, payroll systems and other 3rd party/custom solutions.


Expert-level proficiency in Workday (certified preferred) in one or more functional areas (Benefits or Absence)

Minimum 2 Open Enrollment Events fully implemented

Minimum 2 years’ Workday experience working on an HRIS team or equivalent Workday consulting

Current/Previous functional HR capacity a plus

Solid knowledge of HR systems structure, functions and processes

Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile and SDLC)

Organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills

College degree 4+ years industry experience in a directly related field

Required experience:

  • Open Enrollment Events fully implemented: 2 years
  • Workday experience working on an HRIS team or equivalent: 2 years
  • HR systems structure, functions and processes: 2 years
  • Workday: 2 years
  • Workday (certified preferred) in one or more functional areas (Benefits or Absence): 2 years
