This is a part-time position.
Reporting directly to the VP, HR, and the HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day Human Resource functions of the department. This role will have heavy focus on the HRIS data maintenance, handle staffing and recruiting, supporting employee relations, and employee services.
Base-level knowledge across all HR functions (2+ years experience)
Time management and organizational skills

Strong customer service skills
Experience using HRIS system - "Paylocity" is a plus
Partners with hiring managers to determine full time regular, part time regular and seasonal staffing needs.
Maintains and utilizes ATS; sources candidates, screens resumes, delivers candidate pools to hiring managers, administers appropriate assessments, reference/background screenings, and delivers employment offers.
Supports the delivery of candidate pools and collects employment offers for seasonal employees.
Uses traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as partnership development with staffing agencies, attending career fairs, and participating in on-line job fairs
Manages internal employee transfer process including screening, coordination of interview with hiring manager, transfer offer letter, etc.
Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to ensure updated information on the interview process status.
Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
Assists in communicating important employment information during delivery of employment offers (i.e. benefits, compensation, etc.).
Assists Generalist II in conducting New Hire Orientations.
Works with hiring managers and/or department recruiters to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations.
Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
Works with VP, HR to set budget, programs, and initiatives related to safety, health, wellness and welfare, and then executes, evaluates and measures their success.
Assists VP, HR on employment compliance by responding to regulatory requests for information on a timely basis.
Works with the Generalist II to support employee questions regarding policy clarification, accommodations and general counseling.
Routinely supports other Human Resources Department initiatives, projects and tasks, especially during the season.
Maintains memberships and affiliations with trade/professional organizations related to industry.
