The contract HR Recruiter is accountable for supporting the Talent Acquisition duties for assigned departments. This position will be responsible for developing a proactive approach to attract and retain top talent for both Corporate Office and Warehouse positions.
In direct partnership with hiring managers and HR leadership, the HR Recruiter will work to establish recruitment strategies and assess needed talent to ensure alignment with achieving business objectives.
Coordinates talent acquisition as needed, including required approvals, recruiting strategy development, advertising, candidate sourcing, interviewing, offer development and preparation, and on-boarding assistance
Partner with all levels of the organization to assess staffing needs and fill positions in a timely manner
Build a bench of qualified candidates to meet both current and anticipated staffing needs
Develop College recruiting partnerships in Texas and other states
Utilize social networking resources and other strategies
Full-cycle staffing including sourcing, interviewing, and selection
Provides a high level of customer service in interactions with employees and visitors
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
This position requires a Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field and/or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 2 years full-cycle, high-volume corporate recruiting experience with a large company or staffing agency.
SKILL & CERTIFICATIONS
Experience recruiting both Warehouse and office functions
Proven expertise and knowledge of proactive Internet sourcing techniques
Established track record of innovative and creative sourcing tactics for passive job seekers; i.e. social media
Experience managing candidates through an applicant tracking system
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
Sound judgment, demonstrate problem solving abilities, decisiveness and flexibility
Strong time-management and prioritization skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet email, Word, Excel, Outlook and other software. Minimum intermediate Excel skills required. Ability to effectively learn and manage various systems used in an HR environment
Regular attendance at work is an essential part of the job
